A true
gentle giant,
Tusk came
to us in the fall of 2001 as a wild caught
Mustang Curly that
the
BLM aged as a
three year old; however, his two-year-old molars grew in in July 2002
making this gelding a foal of 2000.
Tusk
is
from the same herd th at
produced
Mellow and
has grown as
tall as Mellow while on a lanker scale at
about 16.0 hands. Tusk has been
started
under a rider
bareback with a halter and lead rope. He trailers and allows all four
feet to be handled and trimmed.

 SOLD:
Splenda, a 2002 filly,
reminded us so much a
previous mare we had n amed Sugar we named
her the substitute.
She is darkening into a pure palomino and her sweet disposition exhibits itself
every
time
we are in the pasture with her. Splenda is by
Mellow out of the sorrel mare has a definite
opinion which she is not afraid to express yet she listens to reason with just
gentle persuasion.

Cherry, is a sorrel extreme curly
foaled in 2002 and has her sire's
(Sed) solid rump and her dam's (Fron)
long legs. While homely in the manner of an extreme curly, if on e looks past the lack of a mane and tail and the thinning body hair, Cherry is a classy, solid, well formed mare. She seeks out human attention without being disrespectful
and would be an asset to any breeding program or to a home seeking a sound
riding companion.

C omet, (Haley's Comet) has
loads of attitude. He has grown into
a
sharp looker with a heart intended to preserve himself and any who go with
him. This 2004
gelding
understands the rules and gives his whole being to the task at hand.
Out of a registered Morgan mare, Haley, by
Mellow, Comet
is sensitive without being spooky and likes nothing better than a bit of
attention where-ever he can get it.

 B.J.
has his sire's color and curls and the heart of his Morgan dam. This 2004 Wren,
by
Mellow.
He has matured at about 15.1. B.J. is halter broke - which by our standards means
he comes to you to be haltered, leads alongside without tightening
the rope,
and stakes on a 30 feet rope for grazing. He is loaded with curls and sheds to a deep gold almost
red-gold body as shown in his foal pictures. B.J. would make a superb trail
horse and would excel at any task assigned him. His dam was one of the
smallest mares in the herd but she was also the lead mare. B.J. has shown
himself to be a pocket pony with loads of curiosity and try.
