  Lightfoot, born in 2007, is loaded with flash and sparkle with his sires socks and blaze. This geldings mane and tail have turned flaxen and his personality has developed with a mix of curiosity and sensitivity. Lightfoot currently tethers, leads on foot or from a four-wheeler and allows all of his feet to be handled. With his height of 15.3 hands , his bone structure and his personality this flashy boy would wow the judges as a dressage mount yet would be equally matched to an all day trail ride or cattle drive. Latchs' dam stamped him as her offspring with his white rear socks and thin blaze. He is refined, gentle and alert. This combination has made Latch a dream to train. He willing accepted the halter, readily leads to his stake for tethering on a 30-feet rope and loves to be brushed and scratched. Trying to exit the corral with another horse, Latch displays his confidence and comfort by trying to sneak between the horse-in-hand & the gate sides. When I step in front of him, Latch stops but doesn't jump and even when a hand is put up and tapped in the air at him this gelding simply steps back looking for all world as if his feelings have been wounded because he isn't the horse of choice.
