Key, a 2005 stud colt, would make a stupendous addition to a farm seeking to raise Curly sport horses. He already shows the class, size at 15.3 hands and lines we have come to expect from our sorrel mare and has the golden curls of his sire, Bit-O-Wy Mellow. Key completed his kindergarten training with flying colors. His sensitivity, intelligence and athleticism stood him in good stead as he navigated halter and rope manners. He understands respect and trust, isn't bothered by his 30 feet tether as he eats and, while a bit confused at first, tolerated handling of all four feet. Currently Key is running in 80 acres with his sire, two brothers and our other curly stallion. He is boss of the three youngsters but hasn't managed to best his sire, Bit-O-Wy Mellow.

Mine is a 2005 curly palomino stud colt out of a wild caught curly palomino mare and by Bit-O-Wy Mellow. Having been born with the coloration and curls of both parents, his fine confirmation along with a height of 15.2 hands allows him to carry his heavier bone structure with grace. Mine graduated from our kindergarten training with a gold medal and proved to be of a quiet and unflappable nature. Mine has shed not only his extra-thick winter curls but his mane and tail also giving him the characteristically homely appearance of an extreme curly. While running in a 240 or an 80 acre pasture with about 20 other horses, Mine still comes in for treats and attention.
